Shaykh Burhanuddin Herrmann is a contemporary Sufi mystic rooted in an ancient spiritual lineage. Initiated into the Sufi path at a young age, he has dedicated his life to inner transformation, spiritual education and service to humanity.
At the age of 18, he met Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani ar-Rabbani, the renowned grandmaster of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order, one of the most respected and influential Sufi traditions in the world. Under the direct guidance of his Master, Shaykh Burhanuddin underwent traditional dervish training, receiving a direct transmission of the Naqshbandi lineage and immersing himself in sacred practices passed down for generations.
For over 30 years, Shaykh Burhanuddin has guided spiritual retreats, teachings and growth gatherings worldwide, supporting people in deepening their connection with themselves, others and the Divine. He is the author of three books, a musician, and the founder of the Dervish Orchestra, where sacred music becomes a living spiritual practice.
