Learn the foundations of Romiromi and Mirimiri, traditional Māori healing practices rooted in ancestral knowledge, bodywork, energy, breath and connection to whenua (land).
Romiromi is a deep form of bodywork working with muscles, tissue, breath and physical or energetic blockages.
Mirimiri is a more subtle and intuitive healing practice, working with energy, awareness, spiritual connection and touch when needed.
During Levels 1 & 2, you will be introduced to the foundations of both practices through hands-on learning, traditional Māori teachings and experiential practice.
This training is suitable for those who want to:
- Learn the foundations of Romiromi and Mirimiri
- Develop practical hands-on healing skills
- Deepen their understanding of Māori healing philosophy
- Explore healing on physical, emotional and spiritual levels
Teachings are shared in Te Reo Māori, English and Dutch.
No previous knowledge or experience is required.
About Ruatau Perez
Ruatau is of Ngāi Tūhoe and Ngāpuhi descent and trained for more than 10 years under Papa Joe. He has been sharing Rongoā Māori, Romiromi and Mirimiri internationally since 2000.
